How information is handled
Deals on Phones collects no account or checkout information. This page describes the limited information the site may receive.
Information you send us
The site does not offer customer accounts, a cart or checkout, and does not take payments. The contact form is provided by Zoho Forms and loads only after you select “Load contact form” (or open it in a new tab); before then, no request is made to Zoho. When you use the contact form, your name, email address, selected role, optional business or website, selected reason and description are processed and stored by Zoho Forms, then emailed to the site owner to review and respond. Zoho may make necessary technical and anti-spam requests for the form separately from your optional Google Analytics choice. If you email us directly, we receive the information you choose to include. You may request deletion of contact correspondence by emailing hello@dealsonphones.com.
Hosting platform statistics (Lovable)
Our hosting platform, Lovable, provides website usage statistics, including visits, page views, visit duration, traffic sources, device types and country estimates based on the browser’s time zone. We use these statistics to understand how the site is used and improve its content. Lovable describes these analytics as measuring overall traffic rather than building visitor profiles or following people across separate visits. Read Lovable’s analytics documentation for more information.
Optional Google Analytics
If you select “Accept analytics,” we use Google Analytics 4 on dealsonphones.com. It records pages viewed, page titles, the referring page (without its query string), general device, browser and approximate location information, scrolling, clicks on outbound links, and which merchant card was selected (merchant name, category, whether it is an affiliate link and the page it was on). Page addresses are sent as dealsonphones.com plus the page path; on the first page only, campaign labels (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_content) are kept when they are short plain values, and we use them only for non-personal campaign names. Search terms (utm_term) and all other web address parameters are not sent. Google’s own scroll and outbound-click measurement uses these same cleaned page details, though Google may still collect standard technical information such as your IP address, browser and device details. We do not send names, email addresses, form contents, search text or payment information, and advertising features, Google signals and ad personalization are turned off. Google Analytics is not loaded, and sends nothing, unless you accept.
Cookies and your choices
If you accept, Google Analytics sets first-party cookies (named _ga and _ga_…) to distinguish visits. If you reject, no Google Analytics code or cookies are used, and the whole site and every shopping link still works. We store your choice, its version and the date in your browser so we don’t ask on every page; we ask again after about six months. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time with “Analytics settings” in the site footer; withdrawing stops measurement and removes the Google Analytics cookies our site set where the browser allows. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a rejection.
Web fonts
The site’s typeface (Source Sans 3, licensed under the SIL Open Font License) is served from this website’s own files. Pages make no requests to Google Fonts.
Language and country preferences
When you select a shopping country, a first-party cookie (dop_country, lasting up to one year) remembers it. Your browser sends that cookie to this website so the server can show appropriate links, including when you refresh a page. We do not include this country preference in Google Analytics events. Language is part of the page address; that address is measured only if you accept optional analytics, as described above. Choosing a language or country never accepts analytics. These are manual preferences, not location detection. You can change the country using the selector or clear the preference in your browser.
Google’s role
Google provides Google Analytics and processes the data it collects under its own terms and privacy policy. Learn how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
Outbound and affiliate links
The site links to merchants and providers. Some listed links are affiliate links, with a disclosure near shopping links; the destination company may use referral technology under its own privacy policy and consent requirements.
Advertiser logos and graphic ads
When your shopping country is the United States, some shopping cards and brand guides show logos and graphic ads supplied by advertisers through the CJ affiliate network. These images are loaded from CJ’s servers when the page displays them, before and regardless of any click, and separately from your optional Google Analytics choice. Like any web request, this lets CJ receive your IP address, browser details and the page the image appears on, and CJ or the advertiser may set or read cookies or record an ad view under their own privacy policies. If you click a graphic, the click is handled as an affiliate link. These graphics are not shown, and no such image requests are made, when another shopping country is selected. You can also limit third-party cookies in your browser settings.
Third-party sites
When you follow a link away from Deals on Phones, the destination site controls its own data practices. Review its privacy policy before entering personal, account or payment information.
Contact and requests
You can browse without creating an account. To ask about or request deletion of contact-form submissions or email correspondence you sent us, write to hello@dealsonphones.com.
Policy changes
This policy may be updated when the site’s actual practices change. The current version will remain available on this page.
